The parts of a bicycle

The seat- Self-explanatory. This is where you sit.
Brakes- This is what slows down a bike.
Handlebars- These steer the bike.
Seat Tubes- These control the height of your seat.
Seat Post- This is what your seat is mounted on.
Seat stay- This is the tubing from your seat tube to the chain. It supports the back wheel.
Front Derailleur- This changes the gear of a bike by lifting the chain from one wheel to the other.
Rear Derailleur- These change the rear gears with the same process as the front derailleur.
Spoke- This is a thin spindle connecting the hub to the rim
Tire- This is how the bike moves and provides casing for the inner tube.
Hub- Center part of the wheel where the spokes extend. Inside are ball bearings which enable it to revolve around the axis.
Down Tube- Part of the frame connecting the head tube to the pedal mechanism. Gives rigidity.
Stem – Part of the handlebars; supports the handlebars.
Top tube- connects the top of the head tube to the top of the seat tube.
Crank arms- They transfer the pedaling power by connecting the bottom bracket to the pedal.
Headset- the interface between the fork to the bike frame, holding it in place while allowing it to steer.
